This year, we are hosting the annual Dunmurry Churches Together World Day of Prayer Service. World Day of Prayer, formally known as Women’s Day of Prayer, is celebrated in over 170 countries across the world on the first Friday in March. Every year, an order of worship is developed focusing on a different country and a specific theme. It aims to bring together people of various cultures and traditions in a yearly common Day of Prayer, as well as closer fellowship, understanding and action throughout the year.
This year the programme has been prepared by Christian Palestinian women based on Ephesians 4:1-3 ‘I beg you…bear with one another in love.’ Everyone is welcome and refreshments are available afterwards.
