Sunday School Games
The 2019 Sunday School Games were held on Saturday 9th March 2019, in the Trinity Methodist Centre in Lisburn.
There were around 60 children representing 8 Sunday Schools from our denomination, including a fantastic turn out of 10 children from Dunmurry.
The children took part in a range of activities during the afternoon. For the younger children this included races, parachute games, storytime and a craft activity where they were able to make a ladybird or bumble bee windmill. The older children had races and a quiz where they had to come up with 10 answers for each of a series of categories. Perhaps the most popular activity of the afternoon was the opportunity to be part of a drum circle with Joe Loughlin from The Gathering Drum.
After a picnic tea the children were all presented with a medal for taking part by the Moderator, Rt Rev Colin Campbell who joined us for the afternoon.
